GEM Connection is a group of inspirational, diverse women, from the East Midlands, based in Chilwell, who rehearse together to create beautiful, entertaining, a cappella performances.
2023 saw GEM celebrating their 25 th Silver Anniversary!
GEM’s purpose is to encourage and promote the art form of barbershop singing. We perform locally, compete nationally, and have performed in Germany, Holland, USA, Italy and Spain, in concerts and in competitions.
We are part of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS) and have won a silver and two bronze medals nationally, and a Silver International in Spain.
